Amazon's latest earnings report has sent its stock soaring after delivering its strongest quarterly growth in five years. The company's revenue jumped 20% to $200.6 billion, beating analyst estimates at $196.4 billion.

AWS, Amazon's cloud computing division, reported its fastest growth in nearly five years with a 37% increase in revenue, matching the pace of peers Alphabet and Microsoft.

However, it's not just AWS that's driving growth - Amazon's core e-commerce business is also seeing significant expansion. North America revenue rose 16% to $116.2 billion, while international revenue increased by 15% to $42.2 billion.

The company credited faster delivery speeds and advertising growth for the e-commerce boost. More than 40% of Prime orders were delivered same-day or overnight, with advertising growing 26% to $19.8 billion in the quarter.
