Amazon Stake Reduced by 19.3% by Montanova Capital LLC

A significant change in investment strategy has been observed in Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) as Montanova Capital LLC reduced its stake in the e-commerce giant by 19.3% in the second quarter.

The fund, which had held 204,860 shares of Amazon's stock at the end of the period, sold 49,149 shares during the quarter, resulting in a decrease in its holdings to $48,826,000.

This change in investment strategy is not an isolated incident as several other institutional investors have also made adjustments to their positions in AMZN. Trust Asset Management LLC increased its holdings by 3.3% during the second quarter, while Bard Associates Inc. and Longfellow Investment Management Co. LLC both purchased new stakes in Amazon's stock.
