American Express has expanded its lounge network by opening its first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). The new lounge, located between Concourses E and F, spans nearly 6,000 square feet and was designed to reflect the character of Amsterdam.

The lounge features Dutch art, landscapes, and culture throughout its design. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in abundant natural light, highlighting a variety of textures, including black quartzite, brass trim, and subtle wood accents. Local Dutch artists have also contributed to the lounge's design with works by Mieke Jonker, Reinder Schmidt, Geesien Postema, and Thirza Schaap.

The culinary experience at the Centurion Lounge AMS follows a similar Dutch-inspired playbook. The lounge has a full bar with beer and cocktails, and its buffet features seasonal dishes inspired by Dutch and regional European flavors, alongside elevated interpretations of local ingredients.
