Amgen's Chief Financial Officer Thomas Dittrich emphasized execution, financial discipline, and cash-on-cash returns during a Morgan Stanley conference. He outlined the company's growth priorities, late-stage pipeline progress, and capital-allocation framework.

The company is advancing several key programs, including IMDELLTRA, which has shown statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival, progression-free survival, and objective response rate compared to durvalumab alone. Amgen is also working on TEZSPIRE, MariTide, dazodalibep, and xaluritamig in phase III development.

Amgen's six growth drivers collectively grew 26% year over year in the second quarter and represented nearly 70% of product sales. Total quarterly revenue exceeded $10 billion, up 10% from a year earlier. The company is prioritizing investments that support commercial growth and pipeline development while maintaining its longstanding capital-allocation approach.
