Archer Aviation Acquires Boeing Subsidiaries in eVTOL Push
Archer Aviation has announced plans to acquire Boeing's subsidiaries Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid. The move is expected to boost Archer's revenue and defense exposure.
The acquisition will see Archer gain control of three key companies in the aviation industry: Wisk Aero, a developer of autonomous electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft; Insitu, a provider of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs); and SkyGrid, an expert in drone traffic management.
The deal is seen as a strategic move for Archer to expand its offerings in the defense sector. With these subsidiaries under its belt, Archer will be well-positioned to capitalize on growing demand for eVTOL aircraft and UAVs.
