Bank of New York Mellon Acquires $844M Stake in Salesforce

Bank of New York Mellon Corp has acquired a new position in Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) shares, purchasing 5,393,386 shares valued at approximately $844,928,000 during the second quarter.

This acquisition is part of Bank of New York Mellon Corp's growing stake in CRM, with the fund owning about 0.66% of Salesforce at the end of the most recent quarter.

Several other large investors have also increased their holdings in CRM, including Vanguard Group Inc., State Street Corp, J. Stern & Co. LLP, Capital International Investors, and Geode Capital Management LLC.
