Biman Bolsters Fleet with Boeing Deal

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has reached an agreement to purchase 11 additional Boeing aircraft, adding to its existing order of 14 planes valued at $3.7 billion.

The US Embassy in Dhaka welcomed the deal, calling it a 'win-win for the US-Bangladesh relationship.'

The new aircraft will be added to Biman's fleet, which currently operates 19 planes.

As part of its expansion plans, Biman is also considering purchasing 10 Airbus aircraft, including four A350-900 widebody jets and six A321neo narrowbody aircraft.
