Biman Orders 25 Boeing Jets, Including Five 787-10s

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has placed an order for five Boeing 787-10s and six 737-8s, bringing its total Boeing orders in 2026 to 25 aircraft.

The latest agreement follows a previous order for eight 787-10s, two 787-9s, and four 737-8s placed in April.

The combined total of 25 aircraft matches the figure discussed during tariff talks between Bangladesh and the United States in July 2025.

Biman already operates Boeing 777s and 737 Next-Generation aircraft, with the new deliveries expected to add a higher-capacity member of the Dreamliner family and introduce the MAX family to the carrier's narrowbody fleet.
