Boeing 737 Max 10 Approval Halted by FAA Over Software Concerns
Boeing's 737 Max 10 variant has hit another snag in its certification process. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is holding off on certification until it determines whether a recent software concern constitutes a safety of flight issue, according to FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford.
The delay comes as Boeing was nearing the final stages of winning approval for deliveries to airlines. The 737 Max 10 is the largest member of Boeing's best-selling narrowbody family.
