Boeing has identified a software glitch affecting some of its 737 Max aircraft. The issue arises after a missed approach when pilots alter a preprogrammed flight path, requiring additional manual steps for subsequent landing attempts.

The manufacturer shared information with operators to reinforce existing pilot procedures and is working on a software update to address the problem permanently.
