Boeing Escapes Liability in Trade Secrets Dispute with Alabama Aircraft Industries
Boeing has temporarily escaped liability for allegedly violating Missouri's trade secrets law in its dispute with Alabama Aircraft Industries Inc.
The two companies had entered into a teaming agreement in 2005 to submit a joint proposal for an Air Force contract, but the deal ultimately fell through.
AAI, previously known as Pemco Aircraft Engineering Services, claimed that Boeing had violated the Missouri Uniform Trade Secrets Act by mishandling sensitive information.
However, US District Court Judge Annemarie Carney Axon ruled on Wednesday that AAI has yet to provide sufficient evidence to support its claim.
