Boeing has secured a $2.38 billion contract to manufacture 22 more F-15EX aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, bringing the total number of aircraft under contract to 120.
The U.S. Department of War awarded Boeing the contract, which reinforces the importance of the F-15EX's capabilities in projecting power and staying ahead of emerging threats worldwide.
The F-15EX is the most advanced version of the Eagle family, combining an all-glass touchscreen cockpit with advanced mission systems and unparalleled range, speed, and payload.
Boeing Vice President Christina Upah said, 'Boeing is committed to delivering this critically important aircraft to the U.S. Air Force.'
