Boeing Lands $41.5M Defense Contracts for Aircraft Support
Boeing has secured two defense contracts worth a combined $41.5 million from the U.S. Department of War, the company announced on Monday.
The first contract is an $11.8 million modification to an existing cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement for support services related to Kuwait's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft.
The six-month extension will cover logistics, management, and maintenance support before the aircraft are transported to Kuwait.
The work under this contract is expected to be completed in March 2027 and will be performed in New Orleans (70%) and Jacksonville (30%).
The second contract is a $29.7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee order for loads and dynamics model data covering all V-22 variants, awarded to the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office.
