Boeing Teams with Lite Coms for Aussie Defence Satellite Terminals

Boeing Defence Australia has partnered with Lite Coms to provide tactical satellite terminals for the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) LAND 4140 LAND C4 Modernization program. The company will supply its LITE SAT 1.3A terminal, a lightweight and rugged device designed for quick satellite communication establishment.

The contract award follows Boeing's own announcement last month that it received the ADF contract, which it described as a 'critical link' in modernizing the ADF's communications capabilities. The advanced beyond-line of sight (BLOS) system will enable high-speed and wideband satcom links to support uninterrupted data flow.

Lite Coms CEO Bob Jacobson stated that his company is thrilled to be selected by Boeing Defence Australia, highlighting its industry-leading capability in rapidly deployable terminals.
