Boeing's 737 Max Production Slows Amid Wing Production Constraints

Boeing's production of its best-selling 737 Max aircraft is taking longer than expected to stabilize, according to CEO Kelly Ortberg. The company has been working to increase output after years of safety and quality crises.

The Renton, Washington factory's wing production is currently a constraint, but Boeing has plans in place to address it. Currently, the company produces about 47 planes per month.

Ortberg expects certification of the Max 10, the largest model in the family, 'very soon'. The CEO made these comments during a Morgan Stanley industry conference.
