Boeing's 737 MAX Software Issue Raises Concerns for Indian Carriers

A recent software issue has been flagged by Boeing for its 737 MAX aircraft during missed approaches. The company is working on a permanent fix.

Indian carriers Air India Express, Akasa Air, and SpiceJet operate nearly 100 of the type and have around 505 unfilled orders.

The issue arises at an awkward moment for Boeing's assembly lines, as President and CEO Kelly Ortberg has stated that the company is producing 737s at 47 a month but has not stabilised output at that rate.
