BTIG Cuts McDonald's Price Target Amid Sales Pressures
BTIG has lowered its price target for McDonald's Corp. to $295 from $350, citing sales pressures and investment costs.
The firm maintained a Buy rating on the shares, which currently trade at $237.02 near their 52-week low of $234.03.
According to BTIG, McDonald's investor day highlighted the company's focus on menu innovation, long-term sales opportunities, and significant investments, including $5.0 billion through 2030.
The firm noted positives such as slower unit growth, a more deliberate promotional calendar, and current technology efforts, but expressed concerns about achieving planned restaurant efficiency of 250 basis points.
