Carriers Boost Trade-In Credits as Apple Hikes iPhone Prices

Apple's latest iPhone price increase may not be as painful for customers thanks to generous promotions from U.S. wireless carriers.

According to Bank of America analyst Wamsi Mohan, carriers have sweetened their iPhone deals enough to offset the higher prices this year.

The maximum trade-in credits for the iPhone 18 Pro Max have risen to $1,200, up from $1,100 last year and $1,000 the year before. This means customers can get a significant discount on the new device by trading in their old one.

Carriers are also offering financing programs that bundle device payments with wireless service over 36 months, making it easier for customers to afford the latest iPhone models.
