Chevron Prepares to Launch Seismic Surveys off Greece by Year-End

Chevron is gearing up to launch seismic surveys off Greece's coast by the end of this year. The energy major aims to identify potential hydrocarbon targets in its offshore concessions.

During a recent visit to the United States, Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou announced the start of Chevron's work. He met with Beatrice Bienvenu, Chevron's country head for Greece, who confirmed the timeline for surveys in the Ionian Sea and areas south of the Peloponnese and Crete.
