Child Star Blake Collins Worked at McDonald's During Teenage Years

Blake Collins, who played Woim in the 1994 film 'The Little Rascals,' worked at McDonald's during his teenage years despite being a child star. He told People that he quit showbiz as a teenager to reset his relationship with his mother, who was acting as his manager.

'It was a manager/employee relationship to some degree,' Collins explained. 'She was a wonderful mother, but I just kind of wanted even more normalcy going to high school. I wanted to play sports. I wanted to hang out with my friends.'

Collins' experience is not unique among child actors. On their podcast, 'The Not So Little Rascals,' Collins and co-star Jordan Warkol interviewed other former child stars about their finances, and the responses were mixed.
