Cisco has expanded its partnership with Nvidia to bring AI-powered cybersecurity and visibility features from its Splunk suite to on-premises customers. The collaboration, part of the Secure AI Factory initiative, aims to attract Splunk Enterprise customers who are hesitant to host sensitive data in the cloud.

The result is a new deployment playbook called Cisco AI Pod for Splunk, built on modular AI Pod templates used in the Secure AI Factory reference architecture.

This move is intended to provide an alternative solution for businesses that require more control over their data and prefer on-premises hosting. By leveraging Nvidia's hardware and Cisco's expertise, customers can now deploy AI-powered cybersecurity features without relying on cloud infrastructure.
