Cisco, Nvidia Expand Partnership for AI-Driven Security Automation
Cisco Systems Inc. has expanded its partnership with Nvidia Corp. to bring AI-driven security automation and real-time spend tracking to Splunk customers.
The company introduced advanced Splunk integrations and an extended partnership with Nvidia, aiming to remove enterprise barriers to AI adoption by improving spend visibility and adding enhanced security features.
Cisco's president and chief product officer, Jeetu Patel, stated that one of the biggest roadblocks to enterprise AI is its difficulty in deployment. The company's new Cisco AI POD for Splunk allows customers to run AI agents locally within private clouds or air-gapped data centers, supporting self-hosted open and proprietary large language models.
The 'Tokenomics' capability within Splunk Agent Observability suite tracks token consumption across custom AI agents and developer tools, providing real-time financial tracking and predictive analytics for upcoming usage trends. This feature helps IT leaders link AI expenses directly to operational outcomes before billing cycles conclude.
