Andre Cisco, a veteran defensive back for the New York Jets, is preparing to face a challenge when his team hosts the Green Bay Packers. In Week 1, Cisco stepped in for Minkah Fitzpatrick, who left with a groin sprain after six plays, and also played on special teams. Cisco said that while it was tough to lose Fitzpatrick, the team's defense held strong and didn't miss a beat.

Cisco has been with the Jets since signing as a free agent in 2025 and has contributed significantly to their success. He played 44 snaps (88%) on defense and an additional 13 (48%) on special teams in Week 1, and has been praised by coaches for his ability to adapt to different situations.

The challenge against the Packers will be to replicate their performance from last week against a quarterback like Jordan Love. Cisco acknowledged that Love is a difficult opponent, citing his ability to make all the throws and scramble out of the pocket. He also noted that the Packers' offense has creativity and will likely bring new things to the table.
