Coca-Cola Sees Decline in Away-from-Home Volume During Pandemic
Coca-Cola's Chief Financial Officer, John Murphy, discussed the company's performance at Morgan Stanley's Global Consumer and Retail Conference on December 3, 2020. According to Dara Warren Mohsenian, Morgan Stanley's beverage analyst, Coca-Cola was experiencing traction in accelerating organic sales growth and generating cash flow productivity before COVID-19.
Mohsenian noted that since then, the company has seen a significant decline in away-from-home volume during the pandemic. However, Murphy emphasized that Coca-Cola has implemented various plans to address this issue.
Although specific details about these plans were not disclosed, Mohsenian mentioned that they have helped the company mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on its business.
