Coca-Cola Taps Monster Energy Executive for Top Role

Coca-Cola has announced that Rob Gehring, the current CEO of Monster Energy's Americas business, will take on a new role as President of North America operating unit at the Atlanta-based beverage giant.

Gehring will succeed John Murphy, who has been fulfilling the responsibilities in the interim since Jennifer Mann stepped down on August 1st. The transition is set to take place on December 1st.

Coca-Cola's CEO Henrique Braun praised Gehring as a 'transformational leader' with 'exceptional ability to develop and lead people, combined with his deep operations experience.'
