The Walt Disney Company hosted its first-ever 'Created in LA' event, bringing together over 350 top creators for two days of workshops and networking opportunities. The event was designed to encourage collaboration and celebrate the next generation of storytellers.
The event kicked off at the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, where creator Jon Youshaei welcomed attendees and screened a series of videos created by top creators, including 'The Technoblade Movie' by brothers Lucas Nicotra and Curtis Nicotra. The movie gained popularity on YouTube for its creative surprise videos.
The event continued at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, where creators shared their insights into the creator economy. CEO Josh D'Amaro emphasized the importance of embracing new frontiers and working with top storytellers. Other sessions included 'Behind The Magic' by Zach King and 'How To Make Shows, Not Just Videos' by The Try Guys.
