Kendall Azevedo, a Blackstone griddle owner, showed on Facebook Reels how to create simple and affordable storage solutions using household tools and Home Depot buys. The hack involves removing the middle shelf from the unit, flipping it upside down, and attaching two soft-close drawer slides.

Azevedo's husband attached the drawer slides to the tops of two plastic storage tubs, which were then screwed into place. This DIY storage solution allows for easy access to griddle accessories and tools.

It's essential to note that this modification may affect the warranty and is not a standard feature. Additionally, the design will not keep backyard pests out. However, Azevedo covered exposed screws with the bins' lids, and a custom cut sheet metal solution could provide a sleeker look.
