Courtney Takes Crown at Disney Villainous Tournament

The fourth annual Disney Villainous Tournament at Gen Con 2026 crowned a new champion. The event, which started with 48 available first-round slots, whittled down to three finalists: Rachel, Michael, and Courtney.

This year's tournament format was different from previous years. Competitors played as different villains in each round. Rachel won the opening round playing as Hades, while Michael and Courtney emerged victorious with Ernesto de la Cruz and Davy Jones, respectively.

The final showdown featured a triple Hans battle, as all three finalists had punched their ticket to the finals playing as the same villain. In the end, it was Courtney who managed to eke out a thrilling victory with some clever maneuvers.
