DHL and SIA Renew Boeing 777 Freight Agreement for Changi Hub

DHL Express and Singapore Airlines have renewed their crew and maintenance agreement for five Boeing 777 freighters based at Singapore Changi Airport. The aircraft form part of DHL's intercontinental air network, linking its South Asia Hub in Singapore with key destinations across the United States.

Under the renewed agreement, Singapore Airlines pilots will continue to operate the five Boeing 777 freighters, while its engineering team will remain responsible for their maintenance. Each aircraft can carry up to 102 tonnes of cargo and is among the largest and longest-range twin-engine freighters in operation.

The partnership between DHL Express and Singapore Airlines aims to support international trade growth and the role of dependable air connectivity in global supply chains. Travis Cobb, Executive Vice President for Network Operations & Aviation at DHL Express, stated that 'The renewal of this agreement underlines our commitment to building and investing in the network capacity that keeps global trade moving.'
