Disney Cruise Line has announced that its newest ship, the Disney Believe, will debut its first-ever "Encanto" musical when it sets sail in December 2027. The ship, part of the Wish class, will begin its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027, departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will visit destinations like the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, including Disney's private islands, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay.
The Disney Believe will feature a "Moana"-themed Grand Hall, complete with a statue of Moana and her friends. The ship's staterooms will also showcase papercut-style artwork inspired by "Moana", as well as themes from "Coco" and "The Lion King". The centerpiece stage show will be the "Encanto" musical, following Mirabel's quest to save her family's home, featuring hit songs like "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "Surface Pressure".
Other entertainment options include "Tangled: The Musical" and "Disney Seas the Adventure." Adults can enjoy Gazelle, a live show hub inspired by "Zootopia", while families can gather at the Wishing Well, a space inspired by "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The ship will also offer a variety of dining options, including a "Frozen"-inspired family venue called Oaken's Table, as well as themed cafes and lounges like Sea Notes, Big Hero Sips, and Café Kakamora.
The Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. The ship will cater to families with children's clubs and spaces, including Disney's Oceaneer Club and It's a Small World Nursery, as well as areas for older kids like The Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway.
