Disney Hikes Theme Park Prices as New Fiscal Year Begins
The Walt Disney Company has once again raised prices for its theme parks as its fiscal year begins. The increases, announced on Tuesday, affect both single-day tickets and annual passes, with variations depending on the park and date of visit.
At Walt Disney World, the most expensive ticket, covering Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom, will cost $229 in 2027, up from $209 this year. The same price applies for New Year’s Eve. The increase for the highest-tier ticket was initially expected to be $219, according to USA Today. One-day passes to Animal Kingdom, the most affordable park, remain at $119.
Annual passes also saw adjustments across different tiers. The Pixie Dust Pass, the lowest tier with blackout dates for Florida residents, increased by $10. The Pirate Pass and Sorcerer Pass, both with blackout dates and limited to Florida residents or Disney Vacation Club members, each rose by $40. The Incredi-Pass, available to all guests without blackout dates, went up by $120.
Disneyland also raised some prices, with middle-tier tickets increasing by 3% to 4%, or $5 to $10, depending on the date. However, the Magic Key annual passes remained unchanged. The Single Rider Pass service saw a moderate price increase, while the Lightning Lane Premiere Pass, which allows skip-the-line access without individual ride reservations, will rise by up to $50 based on demand. Lightning Lane Multi Pass and parking prices will stay the same.
