Disney Stock Remains Undervalued Despite 14% Gain
Walt Disney's stock price has increased by 14% over the past six months, with shares trading at a low valuation multiple of 13.8. Despite this momentum, the company remains 48% below its all-time record from March 2021.
The streaming segment is performing well for Disney, with operating income surging. The Experiences division, which includes theme parks and cruise lines, is also experiencing strong revenue and profit gains despite an uncertain economic backdrop.
A $1,000 investment in Disney at its 52-week low of $92.19 in late March would now be worth $1,140. While the stock remains cheap, The Motley Fool's Stock Advisor analyst team did not include it in their list of top 10 stocks for investors to buy now.
