Disney Unveils Exclusive Anniversary Merchandise with Original Cast Members

Walt Disney World is celebrating its 55th anniversary on October 1, 2026. To commemorate this milestone, special merchandise has been unveiled, featuring iconic designs and colors inspired by the resort's rich history. The Most Magical Place on Earth is showcasing this exclusive collection through opening day cast members, who share their personal stories of dedication and passion for the Disney brand.

Frank, an Entertainment Readiness Manager with Disney Live Entertainment, is one of these legendary cast members. He has been a part of Walt Disney World since its opening day in 1971 and has worn many hats during his tenure. When asked about his experiences, Frank stated, 'Walt Disney World is a place where someone can find a first job, fall in love with the company, and work there for most of their life.'

Earliene, a merchandise hostess at Disney's Contemporary Resort, has also been part of Walt Disney World since its opening day. She is known for her radiant personality and bright smile, which perfectly matches the colors of the 55th anniversary collection. Earliene shared that she 'just love[s] it [Disney World]. I just really enjoy being here, having fun with guests and seeing kids having the time of their lives.'

The 55th Anniversary Merchandise Collection is available now at Emporium and Creations Shop at Walt Disney World, while supplies last. Select items will also be made available on DisneyStore.com in the near future.
