Disney World Brings Big Changes with New Land and Resort Renovations
Disney World is gearing up for several new projects and refurbishments across its resorts and theme parks. One of the most notable updates is the construction of a new land called Piston Peak National Park, which will replace the current Rivers of America area in Magic Kingdom. This new area will feature two brand-new attractions and be themed to look like a National Park.
The refurbishment work at various Disney World hotels continues, with projects scheduled for several resorts including Saratoga Springs, Fort Wilderness, Yacht and Beach Club, and Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. The construction is expected to start in the coming weeks and will likely cause some disruptions to guests staying at these resorts.
Meanwhile, EPCOT's France Pavilion has seen the closure of La Signature store for refurbishment since June 30th. The nearby Plume Et Palette store now offers Guerlain products during this period. Sections of the Germany Pavilion have also been closed due to construction, with no official reopening date announced.
