Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster Plays Same Song All Day on September 21

Walt Disney World's popular roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, is getting a one-day-only treatment. On September 21, 2026, the ride will play only one song for every ride cycle - 'September' by Earth, Wind & Fire. This special version has been a tradition since years past.

The coaster's signature move is its backward launch, and usually, riders hear a randomized song among six possible tune choices. However, on this one day, the lyrics 'Do you remember the 21st night of September?' will be the only ones echoing through the ride.

To tie in with the celebration, EPCOT will serve a specialty drink called the Supernova Sip, available only at Connections Eatery near the front of the park. The beverage contains spicy hot honey syrup, lemon juice, and edible glitter, topped with cotton candy.
