Disney's Hollywood Studios Revives Vacation Fun Amid Busy Season

A long-awaited return has finally happened at Disney's Hollywood Studios park in Florida. Vacation Fun, an animated short starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, reopened on September 27 after being closed for nearly two months. The show first shut down in August as a special merchandise location tied to May the 4th and then again in August to serve as a pickup spot for the popular Annual Passholder Kermit the Frog Magnet.

Vacation Fun follows Mickey's past trips, which never went according to plan. The short is only about ten minutes long and runs throughout the day, making it an easy addition to any park itinerary. Its return has been met with enthusiasm from fans who appreciate its low-key, air-conditioned space as a respite from the Florida heat.

Hollywood Studios is currently bustling with activity, including the recent opening of The Magic of Disney Animation on September 14. This new attraction features hand-drawn artwork, classic Disney references, and character interactions that feel less scripted than traditional meet-and-greets.
