Disney's Walt World Railroad Closes for Multi-Week Refurbishment

The Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom has closed for a multi-week refurbishment. The railroad, a popular attraction in the park, will be closed until November 2026.

During this time, guests can still access the station, but only to collectible medallions on the second floor. The track itself is currently blocked by rolling planters, and most entrances are roped off. However, one staircase remains open for guests to reach the medallion machine.

The Disney website lists operating hours beginning October 30, but these will be limited due to the railroad's shutdown. After reopening in November, it will continue to run in shuttle mode between Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus.
