Dow Falls Amid Sector Losses
US stock markets closed lower on Monday, led by losses in the Basic Materials, Consumer Goods, and Financials sectors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.67%, while the S&P 500 lost 0.77% and the NASDAQ Composite dropped 0.92%.
Among the top performers on the Dow, Procter & Gamble Company rose 1.91%, Nike Inc added 1.76%, and NVIDIA Corporation gained 1.68%.
The worst performers were Boeing Co, which plummeted 6.91%, followed by Salesforce Inc at -2.88% and International Business Machines down 2.15%.
