Dow Plummets Over 200 Points Amid Manufacturing Index Decline
The US stock market took a hit on Monday as the Dow Jones index plummeted over 200 points.
The Dow traded down 0.42% to 51,611.16 while the NASDAQ dipped 0.62% to 26,900.43 and the S&P 500 fell by 0.55% to 7,700.96.
The Dallas Fed's general business activity index for Texas manufacturing saw a decline in September, dropping from 11.6 in the previous month to 9.8.
Knorex Ltd shares skyrocketed 298% to $1.23 after announcing plans to carve out AscendX Media Technologies Pte. Ltd, its wholly owned publisher monetization subsidiary, while Kodiak Sciences Inc saw a surge of 177% to $89.52 following the announcement of successful primary endpoints in the Phase 3 DAYBREAK study.
