Ein Ziv Spring: A Hidden Gem Discovered in Southern Har Chevron

A hidden gem in southern Har Chevron, known as Ein Ziv spring, lies beneath a concrete slab and an iron ladder. The site is about one minute's walk from the road and features a stunning underground cistern filled with crystal-clear water.

The cistern is approximately six meters deep, but the water itself only reaches about a meter in height. Visitors are advised to bring flashlights as the chamber can be quite dark.

Evidence suggests that this site was once part of a settlement dating back to the Second Temple period. The spring itself measures roughly 15 meters long and four meters wide, making it a massive underground water source.
