The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has found that a software bug in Boeing's 737 MAX flight computers does not pose a safety concern.

The glitch, which affects an automated navigation feature, can cause planes to lose access to this feature when they shift their approach to landing.

Despite the issue, FAA safety experts concluded that pilots retain full control of the aircraft and receive clear indications in case of this scenario.

Boeing has informed airlines about the software issue and will send a bulletin detailing how employees can recognize and respond to it.
