Galactic Starcruiser Transformed into Offices, New Permit Filed

The Walt Disney World Facility Asset Management team has filed another construction permit for the former Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser building. The project is to transform the shuttered hotel into offices.

The permit was filed on behalf of CEC General Contractors, Inc., who will handle the 'General Construction' at 201 S Studio Dr, the address of the former hotel.

The permit expires on September 28, 2027. This is not the first permit filed for the project; Disney has been working to repurpose the building since announcing its closure in January 2025.
