Gemini Spark Widens Access for Select Users and Businesses

Google's AI-powered agent, Gemini Spark, is now accessible to more users. Those in the US who subscribe to the $20/month Google Ai Pro tier can now use the service. Globally, users will need to pay for Google AI Ultra, which starts at about $100 depending on their market. However, users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, Switzerland, or Nigeria are not yet eligible.

The company's support documents reassure users that access is being rapidly expanded to more users and businesses over the coming weeks. Gemini Spark is based on Gemini 3.5 and works in the background to offer a daily summary of tasks for the day, based on calendar events, documents, notes, and inbox activity.

Competitors OpenAI's ChatGPT Work and Anthropic's Claude Cowork also require paid tiers, with pricing starting at about $20 per month. However, unlike Gemini Spark, these services are available in Europe and the UK.
