Georgia's Richest Residents Dominate Forbes 400 List
The newly released Forbes 400 list reveals that nine Georgia residents have surpassed the $4.4 billion mark, earning them a spot among America's richest people.
These individuals combined are worth an estimated $66.9 billion, which is more than enough to cover a lot of expenses in Georgia, including chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A, pest control services from Rollins, and Atlanta Falcons tickets.
The list is led by Arthur Blank, the co-founder of Home Depot and owner of the Atlanta Falcons, who ranks nationally at No. 99 with an estimated net worth of $13.2 billion.
Blank's influence in Atlanta extends beyond his wealth, as he has invested heavily in the community through his family foundation, which has donated over $1.5 billion to various causes, including healthcare and education.
