Global Switch Hosts One of Europe's Largest NVIDIA Blackwell Deployments in Paris

Global Switch's Paris data centre is set to host one of Europe's largest NVIDIA Blackwell deployments, bringing next-generation AI architecture capable of a five-times inference performance improvement over previous models. The deployment reflects the demands of modern AI and high-performance compute customers, according to Nicolas Duhamel, President at Global Switch France.

The Paris site offers strong connectivity and proximity to major innovators, but rising demand has strained local power availability, positioning Global Switch as a partner capable of delivering scalable capacity quickly within a constrained market. The deployment includes majority liquid-cooled infrastructure housed within an Nvidia DGX-Ready data centre, 100% renewable energy powering the Paris site, and support for France's sovereign AI ambitions.

Global Switch has also agreed to a heat-offtake arrangement that will feed the district heating network in Levallois-Perret, with delivery scheduled for 2027. This project is expected to lower heating costs for residents and public buildings while reducing the networks' environmental impact.
