Goldman Sachs: AI Profitability Supports US Bull Market
NVIDIA (NVDA.US) shares surged more than 2% to $205.57 on Monday, despite opening lower in the morning.
The stock's rally comes as Goldman Sachs Chief Strategist Ben Snider expressed confidence that AI profitability will continue to drive the U.S. bull market.
In a recent report, Goldman Sachs highlighted that more than two-thirds of S&P 500 companies have reported second-quarter results, with 64% exceeding expectations by at least one standard deviation.
The report also showed that AI-infrastructure-related firms accounted for roughly one-third of the S&P 500's second-quarter earnings growth, a share projected to climb to over 50% in the second half of 2026 through 2027.
