Google's new Pixel ad campaign takes an interesting approach by casting its celebrity spokesperson, Steph Curry, as the villain. The 'Uninterrupted' spot, directed by Craig Gillespie, is part of Google's 'Reclaim The Moment' platform that aims to help users regain control over their attention in a crowded digital space.

The ad showcases the Pixel 11's new feature called HiLight, which allows users to set an LED alert for one contact while muting everyone else. Curry plays a character who tries to interrupt a woman at a cafe, but his notifications are ignored as the feature blocks all other alerts.

This campaign is significant because it highlights the growing issue of digital overwhelm. According to Reviews.org's 2026 cell phone usage report, US smartphone users receive an average of 46 push notifications a day and pick up their phones as many as 186 times daily.
