Google Details Plans for $50B Wyoming Data Center at Community Meeting
Google is set to host a community meeting on September 9th to discuss its massive $50 billion Project Tembo data center in Laramie County. The project, previously known as Project Jade, will remain unincorporated and create its own power through a natural gas energy generation hub.
The infrastructure investment alone is estimated at $7 billion, with the total cost reaching up to $50 billion by the time it operates at full capacity.
According to Google representatives, the meeting will be split into presentation, Q&A, and open house sections. It will cover project plans, sustainability, and local partnerships.
