Google Integrates Advanced AI Music Generation Model into Gemini App

Google has integrated its advanced AI music generation model, Lyria 3.5, into the Gemini app, allowing users to create high-quality songs and musical pieces using simple text prompts or images.

The model, previously available through Google's AI filmmaking tool Flow, can generate complete songs with verses, choruses, and transitional sections, rather than just repeating a short melodic loop.

Users can choose from various music genres, specify whether they want vocal pieces or instrumental music, and select between short clips or longer musical works.

However, users cannot edit the generated piece during the creation process once it has been created through the same prompt.

To prevent the misuse of AI-generated content, Google embeds an invisible digital watermark using SynthID technology in every track produced by Lyria 3.5.
