Google Launches Custom Chat Themes and Backgrounds in Messages App

Google has officially rolled out custom chat themes and backgrounds for its Messages app on Android. The feature, which was previously available in beta, allows users to personalize their conversations with unique color schemes and wallpapers.

The goal of this new feature is to enable users to make every conversation feel uniquely theirs by customizing the colors and background wallpapers for individual chats. Users can choose from a curated gallery of backgrounds or upload their own images.

Chat themes allow users to change the bubble accent color and the chat wallpaper, with the message bubbles automatically adjusting to complement the new scheme. Users can also manually tweak the color palette at any time using the top carousel.
